Just received my Original Gorillapod. After fussing a bit with the lock/unlock ring, I did get the quick-release plate off and then attached my camera. Now, no matter how much I fuss and turn the locking ring, I cannot release the plate to get my camera off. I've tried turning it to many different positions and still no luck. Plus the ring is not the easiest thing to turn and my fingers are getting sore trying to manipulate it into any position. Thanks for any help.
