Rated 4 out of 5 by Mat RDM Cooper from "Missed it by this much" I was really excited to receive my Griptight Bike Mount, and when it finally arrived (Shipping to Australia took a little longer than expected) I was super keen to go for a ride. Build quality is great, ease of use is good and it does what it is designed for... well almost, I have a Taktik Extreme case for my iPhone, the little (T-Rex like) arms that hold the phone in place only just hold it in place which leave me worried that the phone will come out, so to compensate I put as much force on the clamp to secure the phone (and my worries) so far I have had about 3 small rides (just under 2 hours worth) just on roads so no major bumps and it has worked perfectly! If I could magic up some changes they would be: extend the grip arms by just a few millimeters and on the top of the grip knob have a button so you can change the orientation from landscape to portrait on the fly (or ride) because to change orientation you have to loosen the grip knob (this is the only thing clamping my phone in and there is no way I am touching it once my phone is in and I am on my bike) Sooooo over all the issues I face is due to my stubbornness to change my case but this is the reason I went with this solution rather than some of the other case/bike mount combos out there which look pretty solid (I just dont love the phone case as much as mine) The GripTight Bike mount will most likely be one of the best accessories for your bike that you get, just be careful of the T-Rex

Rated 1 out of 5 by iRideBikes from Not recommended for phones that have a curved back The concept of the phone holder is good, but the execution is not good enough. My experience: I own the OnePlusTwo phone which has a curved back. The claws/grips on the holder will not hold a phone properly that is more then 11mm in height. I have a Note 4, which I'm hesitant to try as I've already had the OnePlusTwo drop twice from this holder and have cracked the screen. It only took a drop from the sidewalk onto the road to dislodge the phone from the holder. Setup: Phone with OEM slim case that was secured to the holder. The Joby was mounted to the bike properly, and the phone to the holder. Perhaps a suggestion would be to make the claws/grips a bit bigger to accommodate phones that are taller. Again, this was my experience with the product. Others may not experience this issue. Cheers, P
