Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and versatile! This product was purchased as a gift and our daughter was very excited to try it out as soon as it arrived. She was very happy with it and said that it was working out very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Space Saver I purchased this product to use with my spotting scope while hunting from a blind. While it is not as sturdy as a traditional tripod it works exceptionally well. I can clamp the product to the window sill of the blind and not have to maneuver around a tripod. Very pleased with how well this product fits the application I purchased it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly! I teach watercolor workshops and wanted a way to take a group photo with me included with my students. My selfie stick with remote worked perfectly with this tripod. I was able to position the tripod legs wide without the fear of it falling over with my phone attached. I will use it many, many times in the future not just for class photos but for any shots or videos from a distance when I want to be included in the photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product This is an extremely versatile product that every young filmmaker shooting on a DSLR needs. Provides a solid alternative to a bulky shoulder rig, and can function as a small tripod. Well worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way more than meets the eye. I purchased the tripod and camera ball mount about a year ago. They both do what they are designed for. Superb quality and durability. I moved and misplaced the small level clip so can't use the thing any more and can't find the replacement clips. If I could find them I would buy one for each camera and a few spares. Excellent system, just don't lose the camera clip.

Q & A

Hi, For the Nikon d750 with the 24-120 f4, is the slr-zoom a good match, or will the focus be preferable ? Thanks, Tomer

Asked by: Tomer
The GorillaPod SLR-Zoom will be a good fit for the set-up described. The GorillaPod SLR-Zoom can support up to 3kg or 6.5 lbs and the current set-up you are asking about weighs about 1.36kg or 3lbs.

can slr-zoom use for iphone as well as for gopro?

Asked by: gmanoor
Yes the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom can be used for both an iPhone and a GoPro. However we'd recommend the GorillaPod Action Tripod (it comes with a GoPro mount) and a GripTight Mount for your phone. You can view it at the link below.

Hello, which model of tripod would you recommend for a system composed of Nikon D7100 plus Nikkor 18-300 (the light one - 3.5-6.3)? Would the "SLR-Zoom" model be ok? Thanks in advance

Asked by: radu
The SLR-Zoom will work with your camera and lens setup quite nicely. The SLR-Zoom can hold up to 6 lbs.

Is it safe and practical to use the SLR-Zoom without the ballhead? What is the disadvantage?

Asked by: Anne 1834
Yes the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom is still safe and practical to use without the ballhead. However the ballhead does add the ability to position your shot more perciesly and accurately.
