Frequently Asked Questions

1. What's the difference between "packaged" and "eco-packaged"?

   Retail packaged and "eco-packaged" Gorillapods both contain the same product. We offer the eco-packaged version as a more environmentally friendly alternative, or for people who want to save some money and don't need the fancy packaging.

   The packaging for our Gorillapods is made from some of the most recycling-friendly materials, and the whole packaging can be recycled.

2. Do prices include VAT and/or customs duties on international (non-US) orders?

   No. If you live outside the USA you might incur additional taxes or customs duties. Joby does NOT charge international customers any VAT or customs duties, nor do we reimburse customers for these fees. Customs duties and VAT can vary significantly by country.

3. What is Joby's return policy?

   Joby is committed to guaranteeing your satisfaction with our products. We will be happy to exchange a product or return your money if you are not 100% pleased with your purchase. Please call or email us if is there is anything we can do to improve your Joby experience.

   Joby offers a one (1) year warranty on all its Gorillapod and Gorillamobile products. Contact us at info@joby.com with questions about our returns, exchanges or warranty claims.

4. Do the Gorillapod SLR-Zoom or Gorillapod Focus have quick-release adapters?

   Neither the Gorillapod SLR-Zoom nor the Gorillapod Focus comes with a quick-release adapter built in. Only the Gorillapod Original and Gorillapod SLR include them by default.

   However, the Joby Ballhead does feature a quick-release and is a perfect addition to the Gorillapod SLR-Zoom. It also works with the Gorillapod Focus, but keep in mind that the weight limits are different.
