Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought one for each of my cameras! This is quite simply the best strap I've ever owned and I have owned many, many straps over the 40+ years I have been taking photographs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it!! just feels right... so easy to switch from wrist to around the neck/shoulder. Like the way the camera body positions lens down when around neck. Perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like my Joby - 3 Way Camera Strap very much. This 3 Way Camera Strap was just what I was looking for.  I needed a shoulder and a wrist strap in one.  I find nothing negative about this strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First thing I got for my camera I got this strap for Christmas 2012. I wanted to get something that was smaller and less excess material in my camera bag. The standard Canon strap is just to messy and big. This one has lived up to its hype over a year later. It has been a solid performing strap. I like the ability to have it retracted and locked for a very small, short strap. When it is fully expanded it is very low profile and works great when walking around with it around your neck. The only thing I wish it had was a standard threaded port on the bottom of the strap so I didn't have to remove it to attached it to a Tri-Pod. Other than that this is a must have for any DSLR user.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4/5 - Great Strap Been using this strap a lot. Has performed well. No issues. Only complaint is that the baseplate that connects to the camera is big. In order to remove the battery/SD card from the camera you have to unscrew and take the strap off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant concept It's a fantastic concept, particularly for people like me who like to use compact systems (compact cameras, Nikon 1, Pana GM series, Olympus pen etc,) and travel light. Wished tho' Joby provided a version for these below 1 kg/2lbs systems which would attach to the triangular handles provided on these cams via a mini qd connector so that Joby's 3-way-camera-strap could be put on on or taken away quickly and would not block the tripod screws. Such a variation would most probably earn a five stars. With a tripod block, I'm very unfortunately reluctant to buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not my cup of tea! I bought the strap and thought it was really what I wanted for my Fuji Xt1, but was mistaken. It is just not comfortable for me with the neck piece around my neck. Even with the lightweight of the mirrorless just not what I wanted. I was very disappointed as I wanted a comfortable strap so I could wear my Fuji to the side like the big Joby for my DSLR. That one by Joby is the best strap ever.

Q & A

I'm fairly tall, and wondering how long the strap is fully extended? Can you give me a total strap length from the clip, all the way around the strap length and back into the clip? I'd like to estimate how low the camera could hang on me.

Asked by: BCPhoto
The total extended length of the 3-way Camera Strap is 19".

Is the Dyneema cord cut-resistant? In other words, can a thief cut the camera strap off your person?

Asked by: Jak0
The Dyneema cord can be cut. It's super strong but not impervious to being cut.

What kind of weight can it be used for? I cant find any info about any max weight. I am very happy with my 3way but I am not sure if its safe to use with my 70-200mm lense.

Asked by: Filip
We don't have a recommended max weight but the 3-Way Camera Strap uses Hyper-Strong Dyneema® Cording. It's Lightweight, and renowned as the World's Strongest Fiber. You'll be fine using it with your 70-200mm.

I just bought this from  Very first day wrist size adjuster snapped off.  It snapped like old dry rubberband.  What can I do?

Asked by: Young
That's not right at all. We'll definitely exchange it. Just email with the details you mentioned here and your contact info and they will exchange it quickly. Also please email with a link to the seller. Sounds like the seller stored the product at a very high temperature.

Will this strap fit the Canon poweshotSX230??

Asked by: nancy1
It should. It screws in on the tripod mount at the bottom. If you buy one, remember to screw it in tight and check on it periodically.
