Fortunately, our partners, family members and employees have been spared any direct effects. Not everyone has been as fortunate; in an effort to help support Japan as they rebuild their future, JOBY is contributing 1,000 GorillaTorches and $5,000 to Second Harvest Japan, the country’s first food bank which has been providing aid to the worst hit areas of Japan.

The GorillaTorches and contribution will help support the disaster relief efforts of Second Harvest Japan to deliver food and other much needed items to the affected areas of Japan following the earthquake and tsunami.  Second Harvest Japan’s mission is to provide food that would otherwise go to waste, orphanages, the elderly, emergency shelters, single mothers, the homeless, migrant workers, and many others.
